Happy Monday from CHC. We had a rocking Carnival Saturday night followed by a sleep-in Sunday morning. We took a few pictures and yesterday we had a camp-wide cookie decorating class taught by our very own cookie Queen, Madison Bagley. The girls loved decorating their cookies and we will be donating those to our neighbors and friends who have lent us a hand this term. Tonight we will have the Riflery tournament after supper and tomorrow we will have a camp-wide steak cookout on the hill for all the Debs. Wednesday we will have Cabin 12 Vespers, Thursday we will have our Closing Campfire and Friday the gates will open at 9:30 to load luggage. There will be a short Serenades performance and our Closing awards ceremony. The awards will be a little different than a full term, but it will all be good. We don’t anticipate a long ceremony so plan to stay until the end. Please register for next summer when you are here to reserve your spot. We hope all will be back to normal in 2026 and we will celebrate our 25th summer with pride and joy. We can’t tell you how grateful we are that you trusted your daughter with us these two weeks and hope it was as good for the campers as it was for all of us. We have NEVER witnessed a flood like this, and we are beyond grateful for all of our blessings. I could go on and on about the help we have received and we will touch on that at Closing. See you Friday.
