This morning the Staff served breakfast in bed to Cabin 12! This is a big accomplishment for them – not one X all term – it’s a big deal. They’d also like for us to let you know that it is their 3rd year in a row for breakfast in bed! Today is the last day of classes and then practices for Closing will begin. Tomorrow will be more practices followed by Cabin 12 Vespers where they will wish us a very sad farewell. You should all have the Closing schedule for the weekend – if you have any questions, just email or call. Please do not ask to take your daughter early – it’s important for her to finish her term and it’s a great way for the campers to complete their commitment and to say goodbye to all their friends.
On Friday morning the gate will open at 9:30. Watershow is at 10:00 am and you may watch from across the creek. On Friday evening, the gate will open at 6:00 and Serenades is at 7:00. Before Serenades, you can settle up your bill and register for next summer (our 25th summer!). Saturday the gate will open at 9:00 and we will load your luggage when you arrive. The Awards Ceremony will begin around 10:00 and everything SHOULD be over around 11:00HCST (Honey Creek Standard Time). Safe travels to CHC! We will be posting pictures from Closing activities on Monday or Tuesday next week. Thanks for sharing your daughter with us this summer – we know you have a choice in camps and we sure are glad you chose the right one!! See you soon!
