Good morning! It’s drizzling here this morning but nothing major. And you know what we say, no thunder, no problem! Classes are still meeting as scheduled and the girls are excited to wear their rain gear and boots. I’ve seen lots of puddle-splashing this morning! We’ve had a great week at CHC. Wednesday night was the first Cabin Night of the term and Cabin 1 had their overnight. We also announced Honor Cabin winners (cleanest cabins) for the first week: Cabins 7, 4B, 2, 11B and 12! They enjoyed ice cream with LOTS of toppings yesterday after rest period. Last night was Sub Deb Waterfront and the Pawnees took the W. The rest of the camp were the real winners though, because Sub Deb Waterfront is the best activity to watch! They love competing in their races and having the big kids cheer them on. Tonight is Game Night, unless it rains, in which case we will go to Plan B! Tomorrow night we have a camp-wide cookout on the waterfront and Sunday it will be time to say “see you later” to our A campers. We will be sad to see them go, but we’re excited to welcome the B campers! A camper pickup begins at 11:45 on Sunday morning. Life is good on the Creek!
