Good morning from Camp Honey Creek! We have a saying around here, “Big Metal Chicken,” that reminds us that keeping the right perspective will make every situation a little better. Today, the clothes lines are full of wet clothes, our shoes are soggy, we can’t swim, but, Big Metal Chicken! It’s not raining, the Creek continues to recede, the sun is working on breaking through the clouds, and everyone is back into their normal routine of classes! Horseback is still playing games on the flagpole field today because it’s too muddy to ride. The Waterfront department has begun….drumroll please….THE WATERFRONT CUP! Move over, World Cup, the Waterfront Cup is here. Each swim class has created their own country and will compete over the next week (or however long it takes) for the Waterfront Cup! We will update you on the top countries as the competition progresses.
These photos are from our last rainy day activity yesterday, Cabin Rockstar. The girls had a lot of fun. They were such good sports for all of our indoor activities, but they are so grateful to be going to their classes today!
